Job Description

Commercial energy brokers are responsible for working with businesses to help them find the best energy deals available. They use their expertise to help clients save money on their energy bills and find the best energy suppliers for their needs. This role involves building relationships with clients, negotiating deals with energy suppliers, and providing ongoing support to ensure that clients are happy with the service they receive. A successful commercial energy broker will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, be able to work independently, and have a thorough understanding of the energy market. Continuous training will be provided, but development will come over time. Sales experience is highly recommended, and experience in retail energy would be ideal.

Compensation

This is 100% commission, there is no base, we have a very competitive PayScale, is between 35% and 50% of the deal when you start, 75% is paid out upfront. We are very hands on with you for as long as you need because your success is our success.

Pay example: Landing a regular sized restaurant deal you would make around $1000 to $3000.

In addition to up-front commission, you will be set up with long-term residuals and yearly incentives.

Second year brokers are making over $100,000 a year in up-front commission and the seasoned vets are on track to clear close to a quarter of a million.
